印第安纳州 State University is authorized under SARA (State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement) to offer distance programs in member states that have agreed to adhere to comparable national standards for interstate offerings of postsecondary distance education programs. SARA is overseen by a national council and is administered by the four regional compacts.

SARA institutions must be accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. 部门 of Education and whose scope of authority, as specified by the 部门, includes distance education. In this case, it is the Higher Learning Commission. All distance education course offerings provided interstate by a SARA participant institution to active and reserve military personnel, their dependents, and civilian employees of the installation located on a U.S. military facility or vessel in a SARA member state are covered by SARA.

印第安纳州 State University is recognized as an authorized SARA institution in 波多黎各 and the U.S. 属维尔京群岛 as well as in all states except 加州, which is not a member. Check the program availability section to obtain the list of programs offered in those locations.
